Welcome to the Integrated Climate Adaptation and Resilience Program (ICARP) Adaptation Planning Grant Program (APGP) Pre-Application Interest Form. 

This is the first step which is required to apply to the program. If you haven't already, you will need to create a Submittable Account below to access the Pre-Application Interest Form.

Prospective Applicants are required to complete the Pre-Application Interest Form to indicate their intent to apply and gain access to the Main Application Form. Applicants should also complete the Pre-Application Interest Form to indicate interest in Application Technical Assistance. Please take approximately 20 minutes to complete this form. 

Program Background 

The APGP funds integrated climate adaptation planning and infrastructure planning to enhance the adaptive capacity of vulnerable communities and drive community resilience. 

  • Grant Types: Planning 
  • Award Amounts: $100,000-$650,000 

Eligibility  

  • Eligible entities include: Public Entities, Academic Institutions, California Native American Tribes, and Community-based Organizations.  
  • Ineligible entities include: For-profit entities, state and federal agencies, and individual community members are not eligible to apply as Applicants or fiscal sponsors but can be subcontracted to provide research or other services. 

Timeline 

  • February 16, 2024 – APGP Round 2 Final Guidelines, Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) and Pre-Application Interest Form released.
  • March 18, 2024 by 11:59 p.m. – Priority Deadline for Application Technical Assistance Requests. Requests will be accepted in a rolling basis after this date.  
  • February 16 - June 3, 2024 – Application Period with Application Workshops Application Workshops, Office Hours, and Application Technical Assistance.
  • May 20, 2024 by 11:59 p.m. – Due Date for Submitting Pre-Application Interest Form.
  • June 3, 2024 by 11:59 p.m. - Due Date for Submitting Full Application Form.
